Art
First Baptist Academy believes the visual arts gives students opportunities to explore their unique God-given talents. Students express themselves creatively, while learning about a creative God and His creative process.
PreK & Lower School
PreK and Lower School students attend an art enrichment class once a week. Lower School students have several opportunities to showcase their love for art through the Christmas and Spring art shows, as well as the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo art competition.
Middle School
Art students in Middle School discover a variety of creative mediums, learn about the history and contributions of famous artists, and participate in competitions throughout the school year such as the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo's art competition. Art students also showcase their pieces at two fine arts chapels through the school year.
