The Warrior Parents Association serves the school through active parental participation and involvement with faculty, students, families, and the community.
The mission of Warrior Parents Association is to enhance and support the academic, spiritual and social goals of First Baptist Academy.
WPA has many opportunities for parents and family members to serve the school, faculty, staff and students throughout the school year. From ongoing roles to one-time needs, there are areas for you to serve that will fit your interests and schedule.
GET INVOLVED
Primary Students (Infants-PreK4) and their dads are invited to us for donuts. Donuts with Dad will take place on a Friday morning in the fall on the FBA campus.
Bridge Kinder through Eighth Grade boys and their moms are encouraged to team up together to battle other mother/son teams in some friendly competition, Warrior style! These games are on a Friday in the fall after school hours and are off campus at Warrior Field.
Bridge Kinder through Eighth Grade girls are swept away by their fathers for a memorable night of dinner, dancing and fun! This is a special evening on a Saturday in the winter months where dads get a chance to treat their favorite girl(s). The Father Daughter Ball is held in the Fellowship Hall of Houston’s First Baptist Church - Loop Campus.
All Warrior students and their families get to dress up in their best Go Texan Day duds and join us for breakfast on Go Texan Day prior to the start of school in the Fellowship Hall of Houston’s First Baptist Church - Loop Campus.
First Baptist Academy students and families, grab your blankets and come enjoy a family friendly movie night on an evening in the spring at Houston’s First Baptist Church - Loop Campus on the Lawn at the Loop after school hours.
All Primary School students (Infants-PreK4) get to treat their mom to delicious muffins for breakfast on a Friday morning in May around Mother’s Day on campus.
This is part of a worldwide interdenominational Christ-centered prayer ministry. Prayer brings God's power into our lives, and it is with this conviction that the Moms in Prayer group gather with purpose to cover our children, school, teachers, and staff in prayer.
Warrior Dads, this one's for you! Dads in Prayer promises to be short with no speaker and no fluff. Just powerful prayer for our kids and school while developing good friendships & community together.
The Warrior Parents Association wants to reach out to FBA families in their times of need. Please let us know of any needs within our FBA community.
FUNDRAISERS
Support our fundraising efforts by submitting your family donation. This direct donation fundraising model replaces our past traditional fundraiser (catalog sales) and allows us to fund our operating budget that supports our Teachers Appreciation and WPA community events.
Thanking our teachers and staff is as easy as PIE! With our Thanksgiving Pie Fundraiser every November, you can make your dessert table shine with the perfect pie with the added benefit of appreciating our First Baptist Academy Faculty & Staff. The funds raised go towards gifting our teachers and staff with their very own Thanksgiving pie to enjoy with their families.
In the spring, WPA offers FBA families the opportunity to order their school supplies as a fundraiser and avoid the hassle of finding the items on your own. You will save time collecting your supplies while also raising money for WPA events and activities.
Students new to middle school will need a locker shelf - buy yours from Warrior Parents Association to give back to FBA!
Outgrown your FBA uniforms? Shop the Uniform Resale and purchase gently used FBA Uniforms! Held several times a year, you can update your students' uniform wardrobe or donate your own used uniforms. All funds raised for Teacher Appreciation events throughout the year.
